Just got my tickets for the New Pornographers / Spoon show at Warehouse Live November 1st. My excitement for the show is dampened a bit in light of the bill for the tickets. Holy crap:

That's the most I've paid for a show in a long, long time. And I'm not sure what the processing fee is for. That seems new. I guess it's Ticketmaster's way of admitting the "convenience charge" actually doesn't account for any added value at all.

Sir, the $5.25 pays for our administration costs in providing this service to you. The $8 charge simply represents the amount we are able to charge you because we have illegally restrained competition in your area. It's a monopoly fee. Enjoy your show.
