I've had my eye on these slip-ons for a while, and they finally went on sale. $20 bucks. That target-like logo is the Royal Air Force insignia. I put a decal just like it on my old Telecaster (which I've since sold to Mr. Brownlee).

As you may have noticed, I've also re-designed my blog. The above banner is a Photoshop treatment of photo I took several years ago. Here's the original. It's a light installation in a small media room at one of those fancy yuppie apartment complexes near the medical center. The complex has a small common area that resembles a movie theater. Residents can have pals over and watch movies on the projector. The room features theater seating and some pretty great light fixtures, obviously.
